About Maria
A lifelong pursuit of healthy, radiant skin.

Maria brings a rare foundation to the aesthetics space — one built not in a spa, but through more than two decades of disciplined, deeply personal study into health, longevity, and regenerative wellness.
Since her early twenties, she has been chasing one question: how does the body truly repair itself, and how does that show up in the skin? With a background in herbal medicine and nutrition — a clinical herbal medicine diploma course she began at twenty — that question grew into a lifelong obsession: the research, experimentation, and quiet inquiry that eventually became Kalamalka Glow.
Her early studies opened the door to a much wider inquiry: how the body repairs itself, how skin reflects inner health, and how light, water, and cellular metabolism shape longevity and skin health over a lifetime.
She has followed the leading physicians, biohackers, and longevity researchers of the past twenty years, and has consistently been among the earliest to integrate emerging evidence into her own life. It was never a passing interest — she lived it, ate it, and breathed it. Her approach has never been static, but it has always revolved around the same pillars: nutrition, supplementation, movement, and environment.
Nutrition has been the deepest thread. Not a single diet, but a decades-long inquiry — going to the extremes, following the research, and gradually building the pillars that guide her. These are the foundation she is most excited to share with clients, and eventually with the Glow Circle.
Beauty without fear.
The studio's philosophy is simple and non-negotiable: skin is not an enemy to be stripped or overwhelmed. The best results come from protecting the barrier, lowering inflammation, and preserving the collagen and structure that already exist — while also stimulating the fibroblast cells that lay down new collagen and elastin fibers to remodel the skin. The goal is not to chase a quick fix, but to create visible, lasting change.
This is a research-backed, more intentional approach. The treatments here are ones Maria uses herself to preserve and improve her own skin, while supporting the long-term health of her whole body. Technology used in service of regeneration, not drama. The aim is skin that shows real, visible improvement because it is genuinely healthy.
The quieter layers.
Not everything that shaped this work is visible in a treatment room. Maria has spent decades in contemplative practice, including silent meditation retreats, and has carried a daily discipline that quietly supports the calm, focused atmosphere of the studio.
Her interest in the body also runs deeper than skin: structured water, mitochondrial health, and photobiomodulation have fascinated her for more than fifteen years — long before long wavelength light therapy entered the mainstream.
These threads — light, water, cellular energy — are part of what makes Kalamalka Glow feel less like a spa and more like a place where biology is taken seriously.
Why Kalamalka Glow exists.
The treatments offered — Bella MD Synergist, Dermapen 4 microneedling, Tixel, and red light therapy — were chosen because they support the same regenerative mechanisms Maria has been studying for years. They are not random add-ons; they are the tools she uses herself.
Health Is Beauty.
